This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
•Internet connectivity has been lost. •The website is temporarily unavailable. •The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. •The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. •There might be a typing error in the address. •If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

Most boards after they have been running for a length of time with all the traffic that HFTM gets will get over loaded. All the pictures and our games and goofy nics add up fast, so it is a wonder that it has lasted this long. When boss lady gets through setting it with the changes it will be faster and easier to use.
Thanks to BOSS LADY!
LLL you had spotted the UK on the domain..alot of the sites run out of other countries. I help with one and it is running from England at this time and when it was started it came out of TX.. better deal and better package.
Glad to see you all around...catch you when the site comes back up..I think I will do some C******* don't tell PatC. I can't find a motor on the broom. WOW!

They move boards from one server to another if one has a problem until the problem is fixed. The thing is, they don't appear to be trying to fix their problem. This is the message I get with firefox: The connection has timed out The server at www.helpfindthemissing.org is taking too long to respond. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. With IE I simply get unable to connect to server.

I always thought those were just standard replies when we time out.

They appear to be standard, packy since I get the same one anytime the site goes down and I attempt login with firefox. I am not a fan of firefox and prefer IE anyway... I use it only for HFTM when probs come up with site because sometimes you can get in with it regardless of problems with site/servers.
